Ape Born — Delete your account

How to permanently delete your Ape Born account and the data associated with it. Ape Born is the companion app for Ape Born EMS training devices, published by Ape Born Fitness.

Delete your account from inside the app

This is the fastest way, and it is available to every signed-in user.

Open the Ape Born app and sign in.
Tap the Devices tab in the bottom navigation.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Tap “Delete account” and confirm.

You are signed out immediately and your account is queued for permanent deletion. Deletion completes within 24 hours.

If you can’t use the app

If you have already uninstalled the app, or you can’t sign in, email kiarash@apebornfitness.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 24 hours of verifying the request. If you write from a different address we may ask you a question or two to confirm the account is yours. That check exists to stop someone else deleting your data.

What gets deleted

Your account and profile — email address and name.
Every device you have paired, including its name, module type, serial number, firmware version, and last-known battery and connection state.
Your entire workout history — every session, with its duration, reps, intensity, mode, and per-device breakdown.
Any problem reports you sent us from inside the app, including the technical snapshot attached to them.
Your sign-in credential, where we hold one (the email-and-password credential managed for us by Firebase Authentication).

Deletion is permanent. There is no undo and no recovery window. If you sign up again afterwards, you start with an empty account.

What is not covered

Anonymous crash diagnostics collected by Firebase Crashlytics are not tied to your account. They carry no name, email, or account identifier, only an anonymous app-installation identifier, so there is nothing there to look up or remove for a particular person. They are retained for a limited period under Google’s Crashlytics retention policy and then discarded.

We may retain records where the law requires us to. Nothing is kept for marketing, profiling, or advertising; we don’t do any of those.

Deleting individual items instead

If you only want to remove part of your data rather than the whole account, you can unpair a device or delete a single workout session in the app and keep your account.
